Overview
Suspended Animation sits at the center of 4xlabs, drawing on every section of the lab. Research programs map the mechanisms, the wet lab runs the bench work, and development turns what we learn into protocols and tools.
Approach
We work from naturally occurring states of dormancy toward engineered ones: identifying the conditions that pause metabolism, testing them under controlled lab conditions, and defining what a safe, reversible return looks like.
Status
Active and ongoing. Findings are published as they are validated, and development work is tracked on the projects index.
