Trauma Medicine Advancement Research

Research on the first minutes and hours after severe injury: what the body does, what can be measured, and which interventions are worth developing.

Overview

The program looks at hemorrhage, tissue damage, and the cascade that follows. It is advancement research — better measurement and better methods — run as lab work, not as clinical care.

Approach

We define the injury state we are studying, instrument it so the signal is clear, and test candidate methods under controlled conditions. Anything that survives that bar is handed to development as a protocol or a tool.

Status

Active. Bench results are tracked with the rest of the research record, and promising methods are queued for development.
